Data visualization has the power to drive social change, and Viz For Social Good (@VizFSG) has been at the forefront of this movement, connecting volunteers with meaningful projects since 2017. To capture the global network of contributions, Plotline.us developed an interactive visualization that maps every tracked volunteer contribution to VizFSG projects.

Key Features & Methodology

  • Network Visualization – Displays connections between contributors and projects, showcasing the scale and reach of VizFSG’s impact.
  • Volunteer Engagement Tracking – Highlights who contributed, what projects they worked on, and how they are linked to other efforts.
  • Dynamic Interaction – Users can explore relationships between contributors, projects, and organizations through an intuitive interactive interface.
  • Technology & Scalability – Built using AntV G6, enabling a smooth, scalable, and visually compelling experience.

Impact & Insights

The VizForSocialGood Contributors Network serves as a living record of global volunteer engagement, illustrating the collective power of data for social good.
